Manufacturer part numbers, quantities and target dates help us prepare the quote. Date code or country-of-origin restrictions and whether you can accept recommended alternates are useful too. A list of part numbers is enough to start; we’ll ask about anything else we need.

The quality assurance page explains what happens before parts leave NexGen. Every part we ship is inspected in our own lab at 1370 Reynolds Avenue in Irvine.
The page covers visual inspection using stereo and metallurgical microscopes, dimensional checks, lead and coplanarity inspection, and marking permanency tests to IDEA-STD-1010.
Further testing depends on the part and its risk. Capabilities include X-ray for die and wire-bond inspection, XRF for elemental composition and RoHS, solderability testing by dip-and-look or wetting balance, decapsulation with internal examination, and LCR, electrical and functional testing. We test to AS6171 methods when the part or customer requires it.
The page also lists our AS6081 and AS9120B certifications, ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, ANSI/ESD S20.20 compliance and DLA QTSL and QSLD listings. NexGen is ITAR registered and a member of ERAI, IDEA and GIDEP.
Understand the options for excess inventory
The NexCess page explains two ways to recover revenue from surplus components.
With a lot purchase, NexGen buys the inventory outright, with one payment and pickup.
With revenue share, you retain ownership while we hold and market the stock through our channels. When parts sell at market value, the revenue is shared with you. There is no upfront cost.
Revenue share customers receive an intake confirmation once stock is received and verified, a report for each purchase order, and a monthly statement showing units sold, units remaining and revenue earned.
The right approach depends on the inventory. Common commodity lines generally suit a lot purchase. Hard-to-find, allocated and high-reliability parts may earn more through revenue share. Our team reviews the list and recommends an approach based on the parts.
Inventory lists can be emailed to info@nexgendigital.com with the subject “My inventory list is attached.” Manufacturer part number, quantity, date code, packaging and condition help us assess the stock. A photo can also be a starting point.
