In 1998, founders Lisa Taylor and Tim Pinkert launched NexGen Digital to bring to the market what others cannot: a global footprint founded and managed by industry experts with more than 20 years of in-the-trenches experiences.


Lisa Taylor
Lisa Taylor, Chief Executive Officer
Lisa Taylor co-founded NexGen Digital in 1998 and serves as chief executive and chief visionary officer for business management and development as she handles day-to-day business issues in sales and support. Not afraid to get her hands dirty, Taylor has done every job imaginable as she grew NexGen Digital into an Entrepreneur Magazine-recognized HOT 100 company and Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist ranking. Prior to NexGen Digital, Taylor worked as a sales manager for another Orange County, Calif.-based semiconductor broker for five years and was awarded top-sales each year. She is a member of numerous industry associations, including Women’s Business Enterprise Council West and an avid supporter and member of Talk About Curing Autism (TACA). In addition to spending time with her son, Taylor loves business, travel, books, cooking and is an art enthusiast. She previously owned an art gallery in Mike Harrah’s Santora Building of the Arts in Santa Ana, Calif. and continued to maintain and operate the art space through the launch and growth of NexGen Digital.

Tim Pinkert
Tim Pinkert, President
Tim Pinkert co-founded NexGen Digital in 1998 and serves as president. Responsible for all aspects of the business, Pinkert focuses his attention on purchasing, accounting, the quality department and day-to-day sales. In addition, he is responsible for sourcing excess inventory from OEMs and contract manufacturers around the world. Overseeing data management of NexGen Digital’s excess inventory, Pinkert coordinates with customers, giving them the option of selling components to NexGen Digital or placing electronic devices under consignment for resale. Among his accomplishments at NexGen Digital, Pinkert earned Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist position alongside his co-founder, Lisa Taylor. Prior to founding NexGen Digital, Pinkert held several positions in sales with a competing distributor and was an award-winning software sales representative. Pinkert earned a bachelor of arts in finance from University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and is a member of Independent Distributors of Electronics Association (IDEA) and Electronics Resellers Association International (ERAI). Away from work, Pinkert is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Ken Mulhall
Ken Mulhall, Vice President of Strategic Business Development
Ken Mulhall joined NexGen Digital in January 2008 and serves as vice president of strategic business development. He is responsible for driving revenue by expanding existing customer base globally and finding new business as he works to win contracts as a preferred supplier to OEMs and CEMs. Mulhall also is responsible for sales staff training, upholding industry standards and the company’s much-valued Diversity Certificates. Prior to NexGen Digital, Mulhall was a senior account executive at Telelogic North America in Irvine, Calif. There he spearheaded sales for new technologies and new integrated acquisition products, including ALM and ELM solutions to military, FORTUNE 100, FORTUNE 500 and aero/defense organizations. During his 10 years with Telelogic, Mulhall negotiated more than $20 million in contracts. In his spare time, he surrounds himself with his two loves: soccer and his family, a wife and three kids.

Hande Meissner
Hande Meissner, Vice President of Quality Assurance and Vice President of Franchise Distribution
Hande Meissner joined NexGen Digital in 2008 and serves as vice president of quality assurance and vice president of franchise distribution. Responsible for overseeing NexGen Digital’s Quality Plan, Meissner works to establish, monitor and expand quality processes, while ensuring compliance with customer, state and other regulations. In addition, Meissner manages day-to-day activities of the inspection, warehouse, lab and compliance with AS9100 and all other certifications. As vice president of franchise distribution, Meissner serves as a liaison for Microsemi, educating NexGen Digital employees on the Microsemi line, driving selling points and staying up-to-date on new products and improvements. Prior to NexGen Digital, Meissner was director of land development at a large privately held home-builder company. There she managed large mixed-use infill development, master plan communities, sports and event centers and municipal/public works projects and oversaw technical review, quality assurance and quality control procedures for the project. Meissner studied in London, England. Away from work, Meissner loves to read and write, and has had several pieces of poetry published. She also enjoys walking her dogs with her husband.

James Yu
James Yu, General Manager of Asia Pacific Office
James Yu joined NexGen Digital in May 2002 and serves as general manager of the Asia Pacific office. Yu is responsible for overseeing the Asia Pacific sales and purchasing and anti-counterfeit detection processes. Yu also leads the international business development in Asia Pacific, establishing a global company presence and overseeing the ongoing expansion strategy in overseas markets. His extensive knowledge of international business and fluency in Chinese, Mandarin, Japanese and English languages make him an instrumental part of the NexGen Digital team. Prior to NexGen Digital, Yu was an international account manager at a semiconductor broker and served as an interpreter in China for visiting Japanese tourists and business professionals. There he gained extensive management and development experience in multiple industries for both United States and overseas markets. Yu earned a masters in business administration with a finance concentration. Away from work, Yu likes to travel and enjoys photography.

Jon Blanciak
Jon Blanciak, Director of Strategic Accounts, Europe
Jon Blanciak joined NexGen Digital in April 2011 as director of strategic accounts. He will be developing customer relationships to increase revenue for the company. In addition, he has experience helping NexGen Digital’s roster of clients with purchasing, sourcing and building strategic plans. Prior to NexGen Digital, Blanciak worked in the banking industry where he became SAFE licensed by the state of California. Before working in banking, Blanciak worked at a large value-added reseller in the electronics industry. His experience in finance and electronics will make him a valuable asset to the NexGen Digital business development team. When Blanciak isn’t working at NexGen Digital, you can find him riding dirt bikes, water skiing and hiking with his family.

Steven Golan
Steven Golan, Director of Strategic Accounts
Steven Golan joined NexGen Digital in January 2012 as a director of strategic business development focusing on building relationships with original equipment manufacturers and contract electronics manufacturers throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. By helping customers with purchasing, sourcing and strategic planning, he is furthering NexGen Digital’s global footprint and industry commitment to defend against supply constraint and counterfeit parts. Before NexGen Digital, Golan spent eight years working with North American OEMs and CEMs in the electronics industry. He established and supported accounts with FORTUNE 500 companies to provide components needed for production and was responsible for securing the company’s single-largest transaction as a result of his relationships. Golan began his sales career in the flexible packaging industry, where he honed his customer service skills. Outside of NexGen Digital, Golan favors spending time with his wife and two children as well as entertaining friends at their Orange County, Calif., home. He coaches his son’s soccer and Tee Ball teams and plays golf. Golan holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of Arizona.

Veary Os
Veary Os, Director of Strategic Accounts, Northern California
Veary Os serves as director of strategic accounts, representing the company’s Northern California office. Based in San Francisco, Os is responsible for establishing new accounts and maintaining business relationships with existing clients in the area. Prior to NexGen Digital, Os gained 12 years of procurement experience at Flextronics and Apple by managing overall business relations with suppliers. Outside of work, Os enjoys reading, jogging and swimming. She likes to explore her local San Francisco restaurants and diverse neighborhoods.

Coleen Sanders
Coleen Sanders, Director of Franchise Distribution, Director of Excess InventoryColeen Sanders joined NexGen Digital in 2010 and serves as the director of franchise distribution and excess inventory. Prior to NexGen Digital, Sanders co-founded Celtic Technology Inc. There she served as CEO, developing, managing and training its B2B sales trading floor and international procurement department. She earned an associate’s degree in art from Long Beach Community College and completed the degree program in fashion from Los Angeles Trade Tech. She is a member of Biznik, an entrepreneur business social networking group, and uses her expertise in business to help coach other entrepreneurs in the group. Away from work, Sanders enjoys spending time with her husband, children and her two Labrador Retrievers. She also is an art enthusiast, and loves painting, photography and design.

Paulo Santos
Paulo Santos, Director of Strategic Accounts, Mexico and Brazil Paulo Santos joined NexGen Digital in 2000 and serves as director of strategic business in Mexico and Brazil. The company’s Latin representative, Santos is responsible for prospecting and establishing new accounts and maintaining business relationships with existing clients in the region as well as the United States. Prior to NexGen Digital, Santos was senior account manager for another broker. In this position, he gained extensive experience researching, identifying and building relationships with OEM and CEMs, both domestically and internationally, and was responsible for establishing and supporting accounts with Fortune 500 companies to provide components needed for production. Santos earned a degree in business marketing management from Colegio Estado do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Away from work, Santos enjoys international travel, photography and deep sea fishing.

Padraig Slattery
Padraig Slattery, Director of Strategic Accounts, European Union
Padraig Slattery joined NexGen Digital in May 2011 and serves as the director of strategic business in the Dublin, Ireland office. He is responsible for driving revenue in Europe by expanding the existing customer base in the region and finding new business. In addition, Slattery has responsibility for the health and promotion of NexGen Digital to the European market. Prior to NexGen Digital, Slattery worked as an inside sales representative at Microsemi Ireland where he maintained and built strong relationships with customers and distributors all over the world. Slattery earned a bachelor of arts in office administration systems and a bachelor’s degree in business management systems with a focus on supply chain management. In 2008, he completed a thesis titled “E-Procurement as Part of the Global E-Supply Chain.” In his spare time, Slattery enjoys running, Gaelic games and is a huge soccer fan. He always is current on the latest movies and travels extensively.
