NexGen Digital is looking for a Minnesota based director of business development for strategic accounts to serve its large customer base in Minnesota.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver sales of service solutions, focusing mainly on acquisition of new customers
  • Target potential customers by generating and developing leads into business opportunities
  • Coordinate meetings and presentations between NexGen Digital and target company decision makers
  • Prepare business proposals working closely with NexGen Digital leadership team
  • Aggressively build Midwest territory via prospecting and presentations to prospects and existing clients
  • Act as key liaison between clients and NexGen Digital procurement staff
  • Forecast and project sales and revenue opportunities
  • Assist with client relationship needs, services and concerns
  • Exhibit at and attend tradeshows, conferences and industry events
  • Build new and maintain existing client relationships
  • Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum five years of sales experience in the technology field preferred
  • Ability to build both new and current client relationships
  • Extensive experience in managing and driving rapid growth of innovative service offerings
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate scientific data to internal and external colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and productively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a strong sense of integrity and confidentiality
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound and accurate judgment in making timely decisions
  • Superior planning, organizational, computer, written and verbal communication skills and possess the ability to network and negotiate effectively
  • Demonstrate accountability and responsibility for own work, observe safety and security procedures
  • Experience exhibiting at conferences, tradeshows, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, as well as with members of a team, is imperative
  • Ability to travel to clients frequently within assigned territory.
  • Proficient with Microsoft (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
